“As one-half of the styled shoot planning team, Ever After Editorials, I helped create and design the concept for this beautiful sugary & spicy styled shoot. We wanted to embrace the warm hues of fall with a unique twist. Our focus stayed on apples & cinnamon as if a warm chai latte was our inspiration for this bridal look.
We chose Venue 650 as the backdrop for our shoot for its modern industrial look paired with its gorgeous courtyard. Despite the Florida rain, everything was beautiful, and the venue served as a gorgeous backdrop for our three sets of models.
We chose to go with a traditional couple, a traditional fashion bride, and then a non-traditional fashion bride dressed in red. All three were wearing gowns (and a tux) from All Brides 2 Be, and custom jewelry by Estylo Jewelry. Each headpiece was created specifically for this shoot by Blushing Gold Brides, combining warm metals, gorgeous florals, and cinnamon sticks! Our hair and makeup artists did an amazing job doing up each model in a different fashion, keeping their makeup warm and glowing.
Our bouquets and flower arrangements were done by Sugar Rose Gardens, and she went all out on creating some unique works of art! My favorite would have to be that beautiful protea featured in our main fashion bride’s bouquet. It completely stole the show!
The highlight of our shoot was the two different cakes we had! We had a traditional cake by Cake and Bake Florida decked out with gorgeous fall florals and dried apples and cinnamon sticks. Alongside it was a cinnamon roll cake designed by Daisy Delights. This naked cake had cinnamon rolls decorating it, and on the inside, it was cinnamon swirled with cinnamon roll icing! The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful.
Accompanying the cake was a beautifully curated charcuterie board by Adored Boards, and custom chocolates created just for this shoot. Our rentals were provided by Mango Marigold Designs, who went all out on the unique pieces you see featured in the images.
No bridal inspiration is complete without paper goods! The stationery provided by Squared Wedding Press fit our theme perfectly, and the warm hues and gold details tied everything together.”
